Ashimi Olawale Ibrahim was Born in Lagos, Nigeria on May 9, 1986. He is the only child of a carpenter (dad) and a petty trader (mum). He grew up in Okokomaiko, Lagos where like most ghetto kids, opportunities were hard and despite growing up in a house where there wasn’t a tv, he still managed to find a way in becoming an artiste; a very big on at that. In 2010, Brymo hooked up with Nigerian sensational Rapper M.I, whom later introduced him to Jesse Jagz and Iceprince ushering him into chocolate city music label.
It didn’t take long for him to make an impact, 1st getting on Jesse Jagz‘ “Jag of all trades” on the beautiful track “Luv U” and then killing the females on the hook of Iceprince‘s monster hit “Oleku” before ending 2010 on MI’s “Action Film“.In 2011 he released "Ara" which turned out to be a top chart song and a definite club banger..He is now one of nigeria's biggesat stars and rubbing shoulders with music heavyweights.
