VERTIGO MEETS Inspiring Youth,ONAWALE SEYITOJU;CEO Trendy Treasured Models

In this modern age,where youths are all about getting the latest Phones,latest Gadgets,having the latest Wardrobe in terms of clothing and shoes,Miss Onawale Seyitoju;CEO Trendy Treasured Models,A youth decided to stand up and make a difference among her peers by setting up an NGO which helps in Teens and Youths repositioning.

Our Reporter Ore Peters,caught up with her for an interview.

Can we meet you?

My Name is Onawale Oluwaseyitoju,17 years old,1st child of the family,1st year student of University of Hertfordshire,London and the CEO Trendy Treasured Models.

So what is Trendy Treasured Models all about?

TTM is an NGO meant to help teens and youths discover their vision and mission in Life.We talk to them on issues they need to know about Fear, Premarital Sex and How life could be a better place for teenagers and  the youths.

Hmmm why would a promising youth like you prefer to channel your time,energy,and money to this kind of cause?What prompted you to set up such an NGO?

One day,I went to the Market to shop for my Jss3 graduation and i saw a boy about my age on a wheelchair begging for alms and here i was i had a car to take me home and he didn't even have money for breakfast.I gave all i had but i could not take it off my mind,so i spoke with my mentor -Pastor Nike Adeyemi and that's how the dream started to develop.

How do you run the NGO in Terms of Financial Support?

We get support from our partners Pastor Sam and Pastor Mrs Adyemi and Home Wash laundry and dry cleaning services.

What do you intend to achieve with your organization?

What i want to achieve might not be visible in most cases, i want to be able to touch the lives of teens and youths and help them build their self esteem in anyway i can.

Where do you see yourself and your NGO in the next 10 years?

I can't be precise but i have always had the dream of being a famous Broadcaster with BBC, but with my NGO,we can't say if God would want me to focus more on that.Am gonna be married with kids by the grace of God.
